That's exactly what we strive for at The Kenilworth, Kolkata. It is of course a boon to be in the heart of the city, within minutes of business centers as well as major shopping arcades.

Started in 1947 as The Kenilworth Guest House by Mr. H Madath covering 42 rooms and two bungalows, the hotel in Kolkata has now grown to a 105 room 4 Star Deluxe Hotel under the present management who have nurtured it since 1967. Till the 1980s, the majority of the patrons of The Kenilworth were foreigners and expatriates including guests of foreign consulates, celebrity jockeys from England, renowned writers and professionals.

As a hotel with a history, The Kenilworth lives up to its colonial benchmarks of service and takes pride in its warm and friendly employees and impeccable customer care.

Celebrities from all walks of life have graced its hallowed portals. From Calcutta's own Mother Teresa, Satyajit Ray and Uttam Kumar, to Bollywoodies like Shabana Azmi, Om Puri, and Javed Akhtar, and even statesmen such as Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and L.K. Advani , we have had the honour of playing host to many distinguished guests, who have been delighted by The Kenilworth Experience. This has all been possible because of the World-Class facilities and services we provide.
