Sahayata Was founded in the form of a society under the State Government Societies Registration Act.Our hierarchy is as follows, the chairman on the top is followed by the Vice Chairman, the Secretary, the Treasurer and other members. The Director is the main person who administers the day-to-day functions of administration, production controlling, etc.He is involved with the regular functionong of the society.

Mission
Its true that we can't change anybody's destiny, but its also true if we all join hands we can make a difference. We believe our compassion and support can bring smile to a sad face. Our endeavour to help is one step forward towards happiness and development.

Pioneers of the Foundation
This benevolent move to start Sahayata was initiated by a group of social workers and some establised professionals who have an experience upto 20 years in the field of Fair Trade Activities. The idea was brought to reality in the mid 2000. Since then we have always looked forward and have achieved set targets and goals.

A battle to win for our people
Sahayata is an organisation aiming at socio-economic rehabilitation of the economically impaired class of women. We also have otherwise able persons working with the oreganisation as well.

Activities
We don't believe in charity, we believe in self help. We produce various hadicrafts like artistic perfumed and non-perfumed candles, Regular Candles, Incense Sticks, Essential Oils, Neem Based Herbal Insect Repellent Candle, Toilet Soap, Floor Cleaner & Room Freshener, Packaging of Darjeeling Organic Tea, Hand embroidered cushion cover, doily sets for table display, Hand made cotton file cover, Soft toys etc. We have also introduced our new Electronic Catalogue to facilitate the participation of people all over the world who want to help our cause. Helping is what Sahayata means.
