Tolaram Overseas Corporation is the exporter of Seedlac, Shellac and its derived products. We at Tolaram Overseas Corporation have been in the local and domestic market of seedlac and shellac trade for the last four decades. After our domestic success we started our export business from January 1999.We have contemporary ideas and methods of doing business and adhere to our commitments once made whatever the consequences. Mr. Ganesh Prasad Saraogi, who is a well-known and highly respected person in the shellac trade manages the export office in Kolkata and Mr. Ram Gopal Saraogi, the manufacturing units at Ranchi, Jharkhand. Mr.Vivek Kumar Saraogi & Mr.Vikash Saraogi assist him in running the organisation.The Saraogi family's second name is Shellac since we are in this trade for the last four generations. We work under the brand name "TOC".We have two manufacturing units in the heart of sticklac (Raw Material) producing state of Jharkhand, India. We have representatives at Balarampur, Daltonganj and other important sticklac markets (mandi).We believe and practice our motto of "QUALITY AND SERVICE." "An Ecofriendly Unit" .We have exported to Australia, Brasil, Chile, Egypt, Germany, Hong Kong, Iran, Morocco, Indonesia, Mauritius, New Zealand, Russia, Greece, U.K., Turkey, Bangladesh, U.A.E., Singapore, Spain, U.S.A. Manufacturers, Suppliers & Exporters of Seedlac, Shellac and its derived products. SEEDLAC : Sticklac is first crushed and sieved to remove sand and dust. It is then washed in large vats again and again and at the same time rubbing the lac against the sides of the Vat to break open the insect bodies and dissolving the colouring matter in water.The lac thus cleaned is spread on large, clean, open air floor to dry. After drying, it is winnowed and sieved to get the commercial variety of Seedlac. Seedlac is mostly used for conversion into Bleached Shellac and different types of Shellac.
