Kalinga Commercial Corporation KCC) is an Export oriented firm dealing in refined products of Leather for the sub-zero temperatures, such as Ladies Home Slippers(LHS). KCC established itself in the field of Export& Foreign Trade Three(3) years ago, and has been deep-rooted from the time of its establishment. It has been dealing with distinguished companies in countries like Spain, Germany& The Netherlands.
KCC has its factory situated in the outskirts of Kolkata, and produces in the region of 25, 000 units of its LHS every month. The merchandise used in the manufacturing of the LHS are:1)Swede/Split Leather, 2)Fur Cloth& 3)Felt Cloth. To begin with 1, 2& 3are cut into the shape of the set design, also taking into consideration the size of the LHS. The LHS components are then sent to the fabricators for the final production, which includes:1)Pasting of the Felt Component to the Leather Component at the base of the LHS, 2)Binding of the Fur Component to the Upper & Lower Leather Component of the LHS, 3)The closing stitching and finally 4)The turning of ther LHS to give it the shape of the foot.
The finished LHS are finally returned to the factory for its assesment which is done by qualified professionals in the field of leather, assisted by a Senior Inspector. The LHS are finally put into a Polythene bag as a pair and sealed, then put into a seven ply carton and is made ready for export.
